INTRODUCING: SPOTLIGHTS



An album written by residents from Trafford and Wythenshawe with String of Hearts



The album shines a light on the creativity of our local community and celebrates their lives, stories and ideas.


The tracks tell a story of resilience through lockdown despite the challenges everyone has faced, including bereavement, health conditions, hospital visits, caring for others and more.


Each track was composed over the phone during Covid-19 by residents from Trafford and Wythenshawe with String of Hearts musicians. The tracks were then recorded in summer 2021, featuring the voices of each resident.


We hope to inspire more people to get involved in arts and culture and to believe that anything is possible no matter your age, background or musical experience!
